Rondon did very well. We look at his goalscoring record and it isn’t great, but the Brighton fans on the way out of the ground were eulogising about the way he bullied their centre halves. I still have faith in him.

Barry, Daws and Evans all excellent as well.

Hegazi is a beast.

What a knob

Bit harsh. Everyone sees games differently.

Yeah, only he saw it differently

Yes but no need to call someone a knob for having a different opinion to your own.

Yes - smacks of insecurity
Well you're a twat as well so I'm certainly not taking sides.

Gibbs 7 - World Cup Calling  (agree, best signing this term)
Evans 7 - Committed even if he’s off (agree)
Hegazi 8 - never put a foot wrong (9 he was immense)
Dawson 8 - Southgate needs a look at him (agree)

Philips 6 - Decision making let him down ( to inconsistent to be marked higher)
Barry 9 - Oozed Class (MOM today)
Greg 6 - Patchy, but better ( 5, didn't pass the more than 10yds, 3 or 4 backwards before a sideways pass)
Brunt 7 - Yet another assist (6 poor by his usual standards)

Jrod 7 - Full of running (busted flush)
Rondon 6 - Loads of effort, just not good enough (  5 at best very poor)

Subs

All 6/10

Closer I think.

Anyone rating Rodriguez ahead of Rondon today needs their head checking. Go in the dressing room and ask Shane Duffy about Rondon and he’ll say he’s glad to see the back of him... ask him about Rodriguez and he’ll ask if he was playing.

Foster - 7 assured when called on

Dawson - 8 - excellent, shame he didn’t finish his other chances
Hegazi - 9 - beast mode
Evans - 7 - solid, some nice stuff
Gibbs - 7 - good running, lacked end product but a class act

Krychowiak - 8 - won everything in midfield, starting to see his ability come through
Barry - 8 - classy player, tired towards the end but a good shift

Phillips - 6 - not at the races comparatively, didn’t think he did enough
Rodriguez - 6 - grafts but not a number 10, and not quick enough. Typical Jrod display... guts and effort but quality isn’t really showing
Brunt - 8 - great delivery, missed his composure when out

Rondon - 7 - should be an 8/9 but didn’t take his chances. Played very well, but needs to find that clickal instinct.

Livermore, Nyom and Nyom all 6s

We all know Rondon is not a prolific goal scorer but the pleasing thing is be is at least starting to get into more goal scoring positions than under pulis eventually he will put one away but we still need  another striker.

Foster made two brilliant takes look easy, one in each half. Took the pressure off the whole team.

Good solid performance and the all played well. Back four were superb.
