Seeing tweets confirming this. Absolutely shocked. Too young to have seen him play but was also told about him. Looked an absolutely monstrous player in highlights.

I feel sick. My absolute hero.

I only spoke to him a few months back at Cov when the kids played in the cup. He looked fit as a fiddle.

I'm absolutely devastated at this.

R.I.P Cyrille. Hope you enjoy meeting up with Laurie again......

Saw him on his Albion debut as a 12 yr old against Rotherham in the league cup, got 2 ...then scored a goal against Middlesboro on the Sat where he ran from 50 yards, going past about 4 defenders

And the rest is history ..brilliant for us, Cov, Villa & Wolves

I can't compute it. A huge part of why I fell in love with the club. I can't believe it. Heart breaking. Legend is over used sometimes but it doesn't do enough when it comes to him. A true great, a true gentleman, a true inspiration. RIP Cyrille.
