I’ve always maintained that DD would be perfect for the Sunday afternoon “legend” slot at Glastonbury.

An hour of Rio, View to a Kill, Hungry Like The Wolf, Planet Earth, Girls on Film, Reflex, etc would go down a storm.

It is great read, he lots of fond memories of Birmingham, compared to how the city was perceived at the time.

Tbf they wrote some serious tunes. I remember in the early 80's my older sisters room was covered in Duran posters but because they were wearing Villa scarves in a few I didn't allow myself to like them even though I loved their songs!!

Was there a baggy amongst them or were they all Villa/Blues? Actually I seem to remember Andy Taylor being from oop North?
