Sounds to me as someone is stabbing in the dark
Just glad I wasn’t there. Often pre lockdown did a crawl around Snow Hill taking in 4 or 5 pubs.
Well considering that Snow Hill and Hurst St are at opposite ends of the city centre you wouldn’t have been anyway.

Apparently, the City Centre has been a bit more rowdy over the last couple of months since lockdown ended. Partly due to more young 'uns going out more and less 30+ folk going out. A friend told me this having at a conversation with the landlord of the Colmore.
However, this does seem a bit different. Gangs etc. Seems to be pre-planned. Not just the usual drunken rowdiness which can escalate.
It will take a few months to really understand and investigate this. Police will need to go through data records and the like.

I've seen a clip of forensic officers at the junction of Barwick and Church Streets.

Gangs normally steer clear of city centre due to CCTV but anything can happen with a phone call

Not even sure it was Hurst St. It seems it was in/around the Arcadian at the very top end.

You joke but a prominent old Blues lad sadly took his own life on Friday & there were plenty of Blues out all day yesterday remembering him.
