Kicked out of the US Open for accidentally hitting a line judge.

Looks harsh to me, he’s clearly just hitting the ball off court.

Bit unlucky for him but the rules are really clear in tennis for this, he had to be dq’d even though he didn’t mean it.

Apparently the line judge wasn’t looking and it hit her in the throat. Could still come sharp I reckon.

Yeah, rules are rules, I get that. Djokovic has a history of petulance and histrionics on court, but this was quite clearly an accident.

Very much so. Tennis rules are very stringent.

Bye, Novak. At least a 'new' player will win it this year.

He's not unlucky. He has broken the rules, and pays the consequences, as did Lewis Hamilton in the Grand Prix.

What's unlucky about deliberately breaking an established rule? He needs to learn how to control his aggression.

He threw his racket before, narrowly missing a judge, not like it's a steel gurder is it!?

For all those complaining, get a mate to hit you (or your missus/mother/sister as it was a woman) SOFTLY in the throat and report back how it felt.
