You can see why Slav played him ahead of Furlong. He was a far better defender. 

He’s another player that we haven’t replaced (yes I know we’ve not been paid yet).

Having re-watched their goals again today the lack of desire from Bartley to get to the ball across the goal that Lewis tapped in at the far post is fucking woeful. Hopefully, Semi can grow into a prem defender.

Finally, I think we need to send the bailiffs into the Nou Camp to get the money owed for L Barry

Amazing considering the feedback from QPR fans was that Furlong’s best position was CB.

Wonder if he’s a consideration for the right sided CB in a back 3... him and Ajayi either side of Ivanovic would certainly compensate for his lack of pace... 

Add Phillips as right wingback and we’ve got a Sheff Utd style overlapping CB... would enable us to play a deeper midfield trio too
