Southampton are decent and will deffo finish 8th - 12th. That said, very disappointed with result. Puzzled by team selection and by subs. Much to think about.

BTW, why didn't we get a pelanty when Bertand hand balled it? From the brief clip they showed , it deffo looked like it hit his hand.

Really don’t think Southampton are particularly that good.
Definitely a team we should be able to put up a fight against and be able hurt ?

Agree with last sentence. We made it far too easy for them

Saints won’t have an easier 3 points all season. And that’s worrying.

Bizarrely, we’ve looked good attacking wise in the last 2 games and I was bemused with the starting line up today. And so it proved.

Slav has made some bizarre decisions and his constantly picking Sawyers and our current defensive performances surely need questioning. However, he’s truly been hung out to dry by the board. We’ve only really brought the loans that got us up last season. Haven’t really improved the squad at all.

And for all the hysteria about getting a striker in....we could sign Messi and Ronaldo and we’d still be relegated with our midfield/defence. Long season ahead.
