Not sure that's true. I presume you are referring to Yacob and Mulumbu. Not sure in what way Mulumbu was defensive, he was very much box to box . And Yacob was very good in possession of the ball that season, from memory his passing accuracy stats that season were 90% and above.

But you are right we had a solid base that allowed our many quality forward players that season to express themselves.
