29th April (Sugar, ah honey honey....)

It's great not having much to do, but at least I have a full head of hair  Big Grin

Bees are lovely and active and are foraging well. Making me some good honey I hope. More spuds in today folks and met a good friend of mine for a delightful lunch. More salad planted for sucessional sowing. Lettuce taken from seed trays to final planting positions. Gem and Iceberg. Round planted. More herbs - rosemary as we're running low and I'm trying to get a few more bushes established. Same for sage - it's been a cruel winter.

Have a great evening, folks!  Big Grin

More Rain tomorrow - so will be on chain saw in my den.

I need a hair cut, my barber is in Lye - I have a young lady here who does it but she's 20 miles away - living in the sticks nothing is on the doorstep.

No, Derek, thankfully! It's slow which makes it better.

I am currently making pilau rice for instance which involves the soaking and washing of basmati rice. A Pakistani friend of mine gave me some rice, aged Basmati, which I'm enthusiastically trying for the first time! Will let you know.

Love is wonderful. I sincerely hope it is for you too.

I presume that was a Freudian slip, considering you're desperately lonely.

Cue a FF inspired rant about you not needing a woman in your life . . .
