For what it’s worth, I was a fan of bilic but the squad was starting to look like it was playing at a holiday camp rather than really competing. It’s clear already that the back to front speed that we became accustomed to at the beginning of last season can return. We’ve got the personnel but previously we just seemed to become more ponderous and less direct. This I’m happy with. It’s also clear that the defensive shape and consistency that we’ve been missing for years is receiving a long overview comeback. This is going to see us stay up and hard to beat. We worked super hard yesterday and played to our strengths and for that reason I’m extremely positive about the remainder of the season. 

Good work so far Sam. Sad to see bilic go as he was a good man, but the team needed a bit of steel and strength for the prem and we’re finally seeing it.
