Pereira wouldn't have been eligible for a work permit, Yacob wouldn't have been eligible for a work permit, Mulumbu wouldn't have been eligible for a work permit.

Kante and Mahrez helped win Leicester the league and they wouldn't have been eligible for a work permit.

More opportunities then for English kids over time.

Yes, more opportunities for them to be hoovered up by the big clubs as their prices increase due to a smaller market of players coupled with an unfair academy structure, enabling the clubs to operate loan farms.

This won't help English kids and it certainly won't help us as a club.

Yup, more opportunity for English kids to have a shit load of cash dangled in front of them and their parents before they turn 18 or have even kicked a competitive ball more like.

Only way this can be stopped is for FIFA/FA to introduce restrictions on the number of players a club can have in its youth/first team squads and out on loan

Only with the express endorsement of the FA, who will only issue an endorsement if it's within their work permit rules.

The government are a rubber stamp, that is all.

Well as he has said (as we no longer lay a glove on the opposition or make a tackle) he's stopped the sendings off, now to stopping goals go into our net!

Tune in for the next gripping installment at the Custurd Bowel.  I can just see him standing there with a grin on his face as the ball screams into our net.

Sam only has to win 1 game in his next 13 games to match Slav. Shows how poor of a job Slav was doing.

I suppose on the twisted version of a positive note, he's certainly ensured that the goals are flowing at The Hawthorns...

Come on, we don't need to tackle, that's old fashioned thinking that is! Smile

He'll need another 3 draws from somewhere along with his one win too... Slav only had 13 Prem games, and Sam's had 4 already, he needs 1 win and 3 draws in his next 9 to match Slav. Can't bring the Chump in as BFS won't be managing us there, it's too far beneath him.

(technically he needs to beat Blackpool and get a loss on penalties in some cup too, but even i'll let him off with the penalty one...)
