I was amazed to read that he already has 150 caps.

I remember ‘back in the day’ when getting to 100 was exceptional, and still is in my opinion.

If Portugal have a good WC, and given his physical condition, could he make 200?

I think there's every chance he'll make 200 caps... he's only 33 now, so there's plenty of chance he'll play at the next Euros and WC, which would give him probably 10 games.

Qualifiying for both is 10 games a piece, and add in 5 friendlies a year... suggests 200 is probably about right.

Messi is on 125 and is 3 years younger, and the SA tend to play more qualifiers for both the WC and Copa America so stands a chance too.

Sergio Ramos has 151 aged 32 too... Can see him adding a fair few to that number yet.

He's averaged about 10 caps per season since his first cap.

I wonder if they'll 'clash' tomorrow, Ronaldo and Ramos.

I don't mean turn up wearing the same frock.

Him and Messi are just so something else. They really are. It'll be a privilege to watch them this tournament.
