I reckon we should offer him a role on a commission based consultative basis, specialising in the player sales.

In my opinion it would be a 10% well spent, given the additional funds he would achieve.

Good idea but don't let him anywhere near the buying dept. we'll still be awaiting our first signing at the end of August.

Surprised he’s not been sniffing around the carcass of the Villa to be honest.

He ain`t coming back.

Would not be surprised if JP is sniffing around the Villa if Dr Tony's cashflow issues remain unresolved. TBF I said I could see him doing similar with us if we can't get back up and the Chinese government tighten rules on overseas investment still further. His whole life as a financier both here and overseas has been built on speculation. Remember he invested less than £5 million in WBA of his own cash took out in excess of £200 million over the years including the final sale fee. As a business man, if he gets half a chance again he'll take it.

I understand the sentiment. Villa is just a money pit. Nobody will go anywhere near that for a while. As for us?? I suppose it would depend on the circumstances and the amount of cash he would have to sink into it. Peace's skill was in making money - not risking it.

He's a businessman foremost but he's also a baggies fan, why we he want to help fix them. He doesn't need the money or hassle
