What I said at the time.

They simply don't like the Western way of life, freedom and activities that don't revolve around marrying children and fucking goats.

Just watched it, he shouldn't have walked off, but he has a point. They were spinning it as some random attack rather than what it was, a direct attack on a gay club and was a homophobic attack.

Was the Battaclan an attack on people who like rock music?

It's disgusting, it's vile and it's an attack on every single one of us.

That's not his point though. It was a vile attack on our values, nobody was arguing that. His point though was that this was a targeted attack on gay people and should be treated as a homophobic attack, which isn't acceptable in our society. It was an attack on people, specifically gay people. That was the target. The Sky News team were dismissing it as some lunatic that picked a random target to instill terror, it wasn't. It was a specific attack and planned on a subset of our society of whom he didn't like, whereas the Sky News team were saying it was some "lunatic" or "crazy" guy dismissing the intent that he had.

Agreed. Wasn't it said that one of his motives was anger at seeing two blokes kissing in the town centre?

I can see what people are saying about it being just like any other shooting in the sense that it's no more tragic than the others but this does seem to have been a purposely targetted attack on a gay club rather than just attacking a random bar

Surely, he just made an arse of himself walking off like that like some petulant school kid. He didn't exactly stick around to argue his point. He flounced like some on here! I think he was after a bit of publicity as everyone's bored rigid of him now.
