He’s not going to be happy when he finds out Foster’s gone.

Positives -
Holgate
Johansen
Murphy
Montero
Hoolahan - extension

Negatives -
Barnes recall

In between-
Mears extension

As for our rivals -

Leeds - James deal collapsed
Boro - Nobody
Norwich - Got a RB from Germany
Villa - Lost Bolasie, got Carroll
Sheff U - Few decent additions tbf. Hogan has potential.
Derby - Got King, lost Huddlestone. As they were really.

Now for the management team to deliver.

You overlooked that Leeds bought a top European keeper and a very highly rated young Polish kid

Who did they sign this highly rated kid from?

Villa also signed Mings.

Why are we mentioning mid table Villa as promotion rivals?

Mings has only played 17 games in 4 years. A fair risk, that.

Wha...?! Where to?

Villa signing that French FB then loaning him back is an odd bit of business, considering their position.

Well done Dumbo. Top marks. No where in the media had done a round-up of the signings as they affected the top end of the Championship. Although there was a few holes to fill in, it's clear we have laid down a marker for the rest of the division. Top two clearly our aim.

Not really. They aren't short of cash, so stock up now, in case they have an FFP embargo in the summer. Some of the other loan options may be written in such a way that it defeats an embargo as well.
