I did have to laugh at the term ‘Midland Giants’!

West Bromwich Albion are in talks to sign Sheffield United goalkeeper Simon Moore, Football Insidersources understands.
The Midlands giants are in the market for a new shot-stopper after allowing Ben Foster and Boaz Myhill to leave the club this summer and Moore figures highly on their wanted list.
The Baggies have already brought in Sam Johnstone from Manchester United to be the club’s new No.1, but a well-placed source has told Football Insider they plan to bring in Moore to act as cover and competition for Johnstone.
Moore has found himself drop down the pecking order at Sheffield United in the last 12 months with the keeper making just 15 starts in all competitions last season following the arrival of Jamal Blackman on loan from Chelsea.

He don't look like he's ate as many pies as Myhill.

Cheap and cheerful, but knows the division, seems happy to sit on the bench, and is several years younger and many stones lighter than Boaz.

He’s an international too..

Myhill was quite happy to sit on the bench, unfortunately his arse was takin up 3 spaces, so we had to get rid.
