Percy has spoken Albion in advanced talks with Wagner, Masi reporting the same.

Percy...
To be clear: Wilder appointment was vetoed by #wba club owner Guochuan Lai, who is based in China. Lai also made clear the remit was to appoint a manager who would not require compensation, ruling out the likes of Cooper, Ismael and Appleton

Absolute shambles

If that's true, did we interview them? And if so why?

Well, on the plus side, at least he's showing an interest

So we are looking purely for a manager who is out of work? Is Wagner really the best candidate by that criteria???

It will be interesting to know why Wilder has failed the Lai test.

p.s. Does Wagner meet the sexy name criteria?

He lived in Blewitt Street, Pensnett.

That nipper on the left looks like she's taken a shine to his microphone.

Massively underwhelmed and a tad nervous about Wagner tbh. Didn't he leave Hudds because of burn out? Just doesn't feel like a good fit for some reason and like others have said it feels a bit like a gamble we really don't need to be taking.

I think I'd rather Lampard if we are going down the no compo route but I guess we are skimping on salary too.

It's all very Albion this.....
