Was going to post my list this week:

1. Parquet Courts - Wide Awake
2. IDLES - Joy As An Act Of Resistance
3. Confidence Man - Confident Music For Confident People
4. First Aid Kit - Ruins
5. Franz Ferdinand - Always Ascending
6. The Vaccines - Combat Sports
7. Arctic Monkeys - TBHC
8. Shame - Songs of Praise
9. Let’s Eat Grandma - I’m All Ears
10. Suede - The Blue Hour

I still buy albums, got half of that list above on vinyl. I stream/download from Spotify and if I like something I buy s physical copy.

Same here Duffers. There probably will come a day I'll stop buying CDs. I only switched to CDs in '95 because it started becoming harder to acquire what I liked on vinyl. I like the look of your top 10 by the way. IDLES were already on my Santa list but I wasn't even aware the likes of Arctic Monkeys and Franz Ferdinand had new albums out this year. I'll give them a listen. On Spotify.

The Arctic Monkeys album is an acquired taste, it’s nothing like their older stuff and is fair to say has split opinion.

The Prodigy - No Tourists , theres a collab with HO9909 not to my taste but its a great album . Real slow burner to hook you.
Liam Howlett interests me , all late 40's now I think but he finds something fresh each time.
