Just got round to catching up on both of them and think they’ve been very good... not sure how any Partridge fan can’t find them funny.
Nothing he ever does will match the original Partridge series, but I’m enjoying this one! Feels like he’s adding far more cringeworthiness to the character than ever. The twitter board scenes and some of the comments at the end of the second episode were classic Coogan.
Compared to the usual “comedy” the BBC churns out, this is fantastic.
