Murphy must have a knock, that bench with all the defenders is ridiculous

You would have Montero with one leg just to give us a different option

Also Gibbs surely must start or we’re wrapping him in even more cotton wool

You’re forgetting the Blanco, Samaras, Poco, Gamboa, Davidson, Varela, Ideye season of wonderful purchases. A lot of people forget that transfer window.

The reason we had to bring Pulis in. Our squad was a mess.

Since Ashworth left our recruitment has been poor. No plan.

Agree on Montero and Gibbs.

I doubt we will be looking to sign Murphy permanently, so playing the youngsters ahead of him makes sense.

Interesting how far Field is from selection under Shan. I thought the previous regime had done a lot of work re habilitating him during the season and now he is nowhere to be seen. Strange?
