Like with Bruno, it was going to happen.

Looks great, can hit but not one to take a few punches.

So Andy Ruiz stops Anthony Joshua. No shock to me. Always said Joshua was over-rated. He has no chance against Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder. Too stiff, too slow, too immobile.

Bloody hell. Fancied AJ to beat the bloke and so did he by the looks of it. Serves Hear right for not making the big fight when it was worth some cash. Cannot wait for the Gypsy King to win the lot.

Everything about AJ was wrong for this fight. In the ring and out of the ring. Bizarre. He`s relived his O has been taken? The monkey is off his back.

So the Mexican bum can fight.. Big Grin

2 World Class attributes largely won Ruiz the fight - Hand Speed and Shot Selection. Good boxing brain.

AJ needs to find his spite if it's knocking around - or as Kevin Barry told Parker, the inner dog.
Otherwise, he`s a glorified Bruno Mk II. No shame in that.

His mental game was racktoff, collapsing in relaxation, handshakes and high fives. The Mr Nice Guy knackers only papers over what is a fragile mind and insecurity.

As Miller said to him when he had a poke & got under his skin " That's what I`m talking about!! that's the AJ I wanna see."
It's ok to be that nasty Watford street cunt, just pick and choose your moments. Take the mask off more, or does the AJ brand win out at all costs.

Someone get the lad a drawing board and find a dark cave for him to sit in until he`s cleared his head and finally decides who the real Anthony Joshua is.

It is difficult to strengthen that jaw....once the going got tough, Joshua failed to get going.

Looks the part but not up to Fury standard

The bloke who beat him looks like a fat bloke they've dragged from the pub. Looks more like a darts player.

"It's a minor setback".  Joshua.

Is he a villa fan?

Destroyed and finished.

1 defeat doesn't finish a fighter look at Lennox Lewis and ali

No it doesn't.

I do think Joshua is going to struggle the get a world title back though. A re-match with Ruiz is likely but it's by no means a foregone conclusion that the result will be any different. Ruiz knows now that if he pressures Joshua he can beat him. That fight is probably Joshua's best chance though because he doesn't move well enough to stop Fury jabbing his head off and if he fought Wilder there's no way he's going twelve rounds without Wilder landing flush and Joshua doesn't have the chin to withstand that sort of power, nor probably the heart.
