How many times we can't afford 52 weeks of 65k PW plus bonus x 3 years.

Ermmm Austin's current salary is higher than Gayle's....

Not a chance he'll be offered anywhere near what Gayle would be paid. Austin will be taking a pay cut as he's done nothing in the game for 5 years.

The reality is he's gone stale a long time ago and is choosing from Bristol City and West Brom.
This worries me.

His goals ratio when he starts with every club are excellent.
Let’s hope it continues with the service he has

We’ve got all these quick, creative players and we need a poacher/goalscorer to finish the chances off.

Austin is that.

Exactly, him up front with any of Periera, Diagonal, Phillips, Edwards and Krov buzzing around him looks good to me.

Still got Zohore for when we need a battering ram.

Spot on.

Good point regarding Zohore also. People don’t realise he could be a very good player for us.

The E&D are saying we're looking at a permenant deal, the Daily Mail reporter is saying it's a loan.  Confused

If it's a loan and Saints are paying half his wages then that definitely makes it more palatable...

Who do I think knows more? E&D... probably end up paying £3m for a 2 year deal on £54k a week... (or £80k per year over the next 3 years in Reminomics terms)
