If the majority said they all wanted to jump off a cliff she should endorse that then because that’s what the majority wanted? This is mob rule nonsense.

Can you remind me what the Labour Party mainifesto said regarding honouring the referendum result at the last general election? There is a limit on the idea of “representative democracy” aka the latest whine from remainers, breaking your party manifesto goes beyond that limit

We had a democratic vote. Everyone had their say, and at the end of it there was a vote on a clear choice. Those were the rules we all agreed to abide by in a civilised society. This is hardly mob rule.

Your comparison to people voting to jump off a cliff is not very apt, but to use it - more people voted to go off the cliff than voted not to, so over we go.

We elect representatives to do what they feel is the right thing for us, but when they ask us a direct question in this manner, they have to listen to the answer and implement it - otherwise there is bound to be discontent and anger.

Which is fine if everyone knows what they are voting about. What sort of Brexit did you vote for? No Deal, Customs Union, Freedom of Movement, Norway model, Canada model?
It’s amazig how only remainers  knew they were voting for isn’t it.
