Has there ever been a more self centred and incompetent Tory government?
#1
They cut public services to the bone under the guise of balancing the books that still look as balanced as Eric Pickles sitting on a see saw with Gove on the other end.
They drag us into a needless Brexit without any plan, just to placate their troublesome back benchers.
They call a snap general election to 'help' the country through the unplanned Brexit or in reality they wanted a landslide victory to push through every whim they had including repealing the Fox Hunting ban ffs!
They fug that up because they are completely out of touch with great swathes of the country and now they bicker amongst themselves and jostle for places in a leadership race. The main protagonists of which seem to be on the front benches and in key positions of power and vital to a successful Brexit (I doubt there is one).

Five more years of this shambles and I dread to think what will transpire.

It just gets worse.

"Davis committed his own Brexit blunder the day Article 50 was triggered in March, according to EU and British officials, when he placed a call to Timo Soini, Finland’s foreign minister and a critic of the EU. Having been told he was speaking to Soini, Davis announced down the phone in enthusiastic terms that Brexit had begun, and that he needed the Finn’s support to secure a good deal from the EU.

Only when he heard the voice at the other end of the line did Davis realize he was in fact speaking to Michel Barnier, the EU’s chief negotiator. It was the second time the two men had spoken since Davis was given the job."

The answer is "no".

There's never been a more self indulgent opposition either.

We get the politicians we deserve.

Yet still millions of eejits voted for them. Why should they worry?
You get the politicians you deserve as Proth says
But it seems you also have the electorate you deserve!
Well you don't deserve it actually, no country does

At least we will survive. Vote Leave = Vote Survive

Fantastic Dr Fox earlier

"Well, we don’t want to have no deal. It is much better that we have a deal than no deal. We can, of course, survive with no deal, and we have to go into a negotiation with those on the other side knowing that that is what we think."

And remarkably, the National Crime Survey (which lovers of rising crime used to cite) is now falling.

Of course The Guardian doesn't mention that, what with its agenda and all.

I trust you're less one eyed with the kids Heath?

Theyre acutely aware of the perils of relying too heavily on quantitative information.

Something that was clearly missed in some establishments in the past.
