He never gets the credit due to him. This is one of many occasions where he has helped out those less fortunate. He doesn't do it to get plaudits but sometimes you just wonder, had it been a ''Jermaine Defoe'' or a player from the media loved clubs, the red tops would be all over it. As it is, when it comes to this fella they only seem interested if they can pin a negative slant to anything he does.

Indeed. Shame a few other players in our squad don't have his work ethic and commitment, but there's only so far it can take him. 

Will have his uses this season, and has been a good servant, but probably time to move him on come the summer.
