Brighton match fred

Why play 3 holding midfielders against Brighton FFS? Treating them as if they are Man City.

A midfield 3/5 of Barry, Greg and Livermore with Phillips and JRod should be able to keep the ball much better in my opinion. They've all done it at other clubs or international level.

Just not good enough that first half

Is there a need to play new bloke, Barry and Livermore in the same team? It's far too defensive and there is no creativity or movement in midfield.

Burke on for Rondon, Rodriguez up front.

I'd be tempted to bring Brunt on too. For Hegazi - who looks liable of gifting a goal away - Nyom at RB and Dawson at CB.

We need to play out from the back, move the ball quicker and get it out wide. There needs to be more urgency and movement off the ball. Our full backs must overlap in order for us to have an attacking treat.

Clear we needed another striker in the window. J Rod being used wide. Rondon looking a shadow of the player he was 12 months ago.

+1 - the defence is far more balanced with Nyom at RB and with Brunt on we can get some quality delivery.

Ifs you've bought a specialist left back and have the bloke available who's been doing a decent job there all season, then end up playing a right footer there you  deserve what you get.

Said the same before kick off on the Team thread.

Negative midfield central 3 and unfortunately you knew straight away what mindset we were going into the game with.

Burke on for Rondon. Move Jrod to cf and bring Jimmy on instead of Livermore.

Most worrying was the defensive shambles. Zero composure - we looked absolutely scrappy the whole half.
