Story of the lad's career... think he stared to find his form with us only to get injured and by the time he was fit Kuszczak's form made it impossible to drop him.

Houlty, Kirkland and Kuszczak... really we're spoilt for goalies that year!

I thought kuzczak was ahead of him anyway after finding form in the GE season. My memory struggles but I also thought he was here longer

We had for a full season but he was always either injured or on the bench. The PIG got either injured or suspended for a few games in the second half of the season and CK got injured pretty much the next day

Real shame what happened to him, goes to show once more that money and fame doesn't make you immune to mental health issues.

Remember him being a very talented keeper, he could have at least been on a par with Joe Hart if he hadn't been made of breadsticks.

As I recall Hoult was struggling with his back at that time too.

As I recall Hoult was struggling with his back at that time too.

I think it was those ahead of the keepers that were the problem.
