I've been getting a weird thing in the last few weeks. Phone rings, but no chance to answer. Then later on I get a call from someone (who sounds genuine) saying that they had a missed call off my number, it's happened twice, but I'm not aware of any known scam that incorporates the tactic?
As for the Redirection ones, don't answer and give them grief for a couple of reasons: 1. they now know it's a genuine number, 2: more importantly some of them re-direct to premium rate numbers and you could get charged loads.
