I don't think any of the players were guilty (of believing their own publicity). There was a lethargy about the side that was assisted by Barnsley putting in a good performance. They out muscled the flair players, not always fairly, and wound up many of the others. Still, these things happen and our never-beaten attitude is rubbing off on most of us.
As a negative, there were a lot of whingers around last night. I nearly came to grief with the guys sitting behind me. God knows what team they are used to watching.
